This species has been observed on Madagascar Island

Order : Nudibranchia Suborder : Dexiarchia Superfamily : Aeolidioidea Family : Facelinidae Distribution : Western Indian Ocean Maximal size : 65 mm Abundance : Species characteristics : Notum and cerata translucent white with opaque white dots and bluish coloration in some specimens Smooth rhinophores and oral tentacles translucent white wit sometimes basal bluish coloration and distal yellow tips.

   Similar to Phyllodesmium sp 3 from Western Indian Ocean in Nudibranch and Sea Slug identification from Indo Pacific, Gosliner, Valdés and Behrens, 2015
   Looks like also to Phyllodesmium magnum but the cerata are cylindrical not flattened and the tip rounded not bluntly pointed like in P. magnum. And according Gosliner, the jaw ornementation and radula of that species are radically different from P. magnum
