External morphology :
The branchial plumes "gills" are brown-orange to greenish at their bases, becoming
clearer
where they begin to ramify. The divisions of the "gills" are purple, with the finest terminal divisions tipped in white. The ‘‘gills'' are relatively short.
They are dotted with small dark purple spots
The coloration of the rhinophore sheaths resembles that of the branchial plumes, with some darker red lines or spots approaching the margins.
The rhinophores each have a terminal projection with numerous branched subterminal excrescences. The shafts of the rhinophores are brown-orange to greenish, the tips of the central clavi colored white.
