Species characteristics :

It is distinguishable by its white body color with orange spots or lines and white tubercles.

It has a complete circle of gills.

Bibliographic data :

The branchial plumes are rather small, tripinnate, 9 in number, non-retractile, and arranged in a circle round the anal papilla. It has a complete circle of gills.
    The head is loaded with a pair of small conical rhinophores which are perfoliated and retractile within sheaths. Rhinophoral club are pale brown
    It feeds on sacoglossan opistobranchs in Hawai ( Kay and Young, 1939)
    The black digestive gland becomes clearly visible at the center after the animal has fed.
