Species characteristics : The body is translucent white with opaque white spots and thin short interrupted vivid vermillon lines arranged longitudinally
The rhinophores are slender each has 3 to 5 white annuli on the upper half and the tip is rounded Cerata black to dark brown basally with lighter pigment and opaque white longitudinal lines (abscent in western Indian Ocean)
