Species characteristics :

The oval elongated body is white without patches containing black papillae. The body is spiculose, giving a spiky appearance to the animal

The rhinophores have a translucent stalk and black or dark brown upper half of the clavus

The branched gills are white and tiped with dark brown to black pigment

Remarks :

May be a decolorated specimen of Halgerda funebris may be a new species.
