Species characteristics :

The mantle is a translucent greyish white with light purplish grey patches often with a darker spot in each patch

The rhinophores and the gills are white

Bibliographic data :

The mantle, which is more wider than the foot, is very elongate in outline when an animal is crawling and flattened in profile.  
    The mantle is firm and smooth to the touch. In this Peltodoris the small tubercles are soft
    The four to six moderately small compound gills form a complete circlet around the anus
    The mantle margin has a very thin milk-white marginal line
    The undersurface of the foot sole and the mantle are white

One specimen collected from Grand Baie, 2 November 1985, size : 22 mm
