Family : Chromodorididae
Distribution : Mauritius
Maximal size : 60 mm
Abundance : Seldom if ever on the fore reef zone


Species characteristics :

Body covered with whitish area forming a reticlated pattern

Between these whitish spots and in central body appears pale pink dotted with black dots of varying size

The extremity of the rhinophores and gills and mantle margin is midnight blue

Orange coloration at the base of the gills

Remarks :

Identification confirmed by Richard Willan and Nathalie Yonow
   According Richard Willan : "It does recall some of the larger members of the Goniobranchus (Chromodoris) reticulatus species group in the way its gills are arranged and the regular undulations along the edge of the mantle"
