Species characteristics :

Species characterised by black longitudinal lines, bluish background and a large orange submarginal band and a thin white band

It has a characteristic pattern of dark translucent patches on the dorsum. They are arranged in a regular pattern, a pair behind the rhinophores, one in the centre of the dorsum and a pair just anterior to the gills.

Rhinophores dark yellow-orange and an orange edge to the rhinophore pocket

The gills have a the basal white half on the inside of the orange gills

The gills have a white basal half and and the rest orange like in C. boucheti
    Similar to Chromodoris strigata from Mauritius, but in Chromodoris cf. strigata :
             - the orange edge to the rhinophore pocket
             - the basal white half on the inside of the orange gills
