Species characteristics :

Body brown to white

The cerata are arranged in rows exept in the median anterior area. The longest near to the posterior end.

Basically the cerata are whitish to brownish, some of them have yellow and black rings

Identification confirmed by Nathalie Yonow
    A species with hight variability, or different undescribed species...
    Specimens with partial decoloration look like Cerberilla sp3 in Gosliner (2008), the specimen with brown coloration look like Cerberilla sp 5 (Rudman)

Bibliographic data :

In some whitish specimen there is a yellow border an the anterior margin of the head.
    The oral tentacles and rhinophores are brown to translucent white
    The cerata coloration varying according to their position on the body and to the specimen.
    The dorsum is low and flattened in profile and the foot is exeptionally broad. The anterior foot corners are prominent, being enlarged into long sharply pointed tentacles
    The oral tentales are exeptionally large, tapering and the tip is pointed. The rhinophores which araised from a common base, are short slender and smooth.
