Species characteristics :

Background body colour cream.

It has three colour bands around the body edge : the outermost is orange, then white and finaly a band of pale yellow.

These marginal bands are visible on the dorsal and ventral surface of the body.

Remarks :

Newman (2003), considered this species as an undescribed species (Pseudobiceros sp 8 )

This flatworm of the genus Pseudobiceros mimics the colour pattern of Glossodoris symmetricus Rudman,1990 a chromodorid nudibranch which is commonly found in the Indian Ocean

Like other Pseudobiceros, this species actively swim with exaggerated undulations of their ruffled margin.

In this specimen we can observed some opaque white dots all over the body.
