Body semi-transparent, mottled grey and opaque white with widely space black spots, light orange medially

Marginal band orange with white spots and occasional black dots

Bibliographic data :

Presence of a black rim dorsally and ventrally. The ventral side is cream with a mottled orange marginal band.
   The body is raised on the longitudinal median line, and the pseudotentacles are square and ruffled, each with two well defined groups of numerous pseudotentacular eyes.
   Cerebral cluster of about 50 small eyespots
   Habitat : Found at the reef crest under rubble, feeding on colonial ascidians
   Ethymology : damawan = after the reef where it was collected Madang, Papua New Guinea
